Libra forecast for Thursday June 24, 2021
Life is a celebration. It's abundant and self-perpetuating. A little makes a lot. Against all the odds, it encourages tiny seeds to sprout forth and grow. It affirms us... as too, do the various experiences we associate most closely with it. Joy, for example, gives rise to more joy. And hope replicates itself in the hearts of all who nurture it. And yes, our fears and anxieties do the same. But today, under the powerful Supermoon, and as Venus, your ruler, connects with mysterious Pluto, you can choose to give your energy to all things positive.

We don't get to design our own lives. Neither are we fully in control of them. The best we can hope for are fleeting moments of relative calm, when our anticipations and expectations line up with what's actually happening. That doesn't mean we're failures. Some folk try to limit their choices in the hope that it will give a false sense of power. But that doesn't make them successful. As we approach the Full Moon, something surprisingly magical is arising for you. You don't need to control it. You just have to be ready to embrace it.

If only we could turn back the hands of time. Yet, unless we all had that skill, it would make life very unfair. Otherwise, the people who had the ability would be able to use it to their own advantage and the rest of us would have to keep dealing with the consequences. Yet, if we were all able to change the past, we'd be forever trying to redo what someone else had just undone. Argh! This isn't the only reason why you should be glad about what can't be changed. As Mercury changes direction, you'll see other good reasons too!

It's important to be polite, we're taught, even to people we dislike. By being courteous and respectful, we hope that they'll extend the same courtesy to us. We hope that if we demonstrate kindness and consideration, those qualities will be shown to us. We hope to reap what we sow. And that's a good code to live life by. Yet, it's important to know where to draw the line. There's a difference between being respectful and nodding along to every crazy idea. The Solstice encourages you to trust your own judgment today.

Your Weekly Love Focus Horoscope: 'You can do anything you set your mind to'. Benjamin Franklin's words provide a guide for you this Full Moon/Solstice week. When a friend of mine realised that her introverted nature meant that she was missing out on a lot of fun, she made a conscious decision to be more outgoing and behave against her 'type'. And she succeeded; that quiet side is still there... but she's in control. You can achieve any kind of change you choose now. The cosmos brings an opportunity for reinvention. Be the change you want to see.

Your Weekly Horoscope: Relationships don't always last forever. Neither do our feuds. And, some people quarrel one moment, and agree the next. If the desire to move on is powerful enough, some folk can find forgiveness even when crimes have been committed. There's no point getting caught up in the way things used to be... especially when a door that appeared closed can be reopened. If you ask positive questions this Solstice/Full Moon week, you'll receive positive answers. And, if you believe in a good outcome, you'll make surprising progress.

Everyone has secrets. They're not necessarily big, red flag, relationship-ending secrets; in fact, often they're the exact opposite! Most white lies are made to save people's feelings. Perhaps we don't really like a partner's favourite perfume. Or using a knife and fork to eat pizza is non-negotiable. The point is, we don't know anyone as well as we imagine - and that goes for ourselves too. Don't write off an unusual opportunity this weekend. While somewhat left-of-field, there's a good chance that it holds exactly what you need.

Whether there's anything to moan about or not, people like to complain! They might have all they could possibly dream of and they'll still find something to be unhappy about. Eventually, such determined negativity has a way of affecting their actual personality until pessimism becomes the norm. 'This must be the wrong thing because it doesn't meet my expectations' they say. But we don't always know what's right for us; and the danger of this approach is that we overlook positive developments. One of those is heading your way.
